Champions League: These are the pairings in the semifinals

After a sensational win over Juventus, Ajax Amsterdam face Tottenham in the semi-finals, who beat Manchester City in a wild game. Liverpool gets to deal with Barcelona.

Liverpool meet FC Barcelona with Lionel Messi in the Champions League semi-finals. The team of coach Jürgen Klopp has won their quarter-final return leg at FC Porto 4: 1 (1: 0), FC Barcelona had already qualified on Tuesday by a clear 3-0 (2-0) against Manchester United. Barcelona is at home in the semi-final.

In the second semi-final Tottenham and Ajax play Amsterdam against each other. For the Spurs it is a premiere, so far they had never come in the Champions League. A 3: 4 (2: 3) in the quarter-final second leg against Manchester City made it possible. And Ajax threw Juventus out of the competition. It is the duel of two surprise semi-finalists. The first leg will take place in London.

The semi-final first leg matches will take place on April 30 and May 1 at 9 pm and the return matches on May 7 and 8 at the same time.
